Battle of the Netherlands - The battle of the Netherlands or Slag om Nederland in Dutch, was part of operation Fall Gelb, the German invasion of the Low Countries and France in 1940 during World War II. The battle lasted from 10 May until 17 May during which Nazi Germany conquered and occupied the Netherlands.
